Why do you want to learn French in France? Is it because you think you’ll learn faster? Wouldn’t you rather learn French BEFORE you got to France?

If the reason you want to learn French in France is because you think you’ll learn faster, then we’ll address that issue here. If it is because you just want to enjoy the culture and absorb yourself into their society, then by all means, have fun.

However, you can just as easily (if not easier) learn French without having to take the trip to France and commit yourself to several months of absorbing yourself in their culture.

Certain programs can teach you how to speak French in literally just a few weeks, if you apply yourself.

You’ll find some of these programs that we have reviewed on the main section of our site. While we would off the bat recommend the Pimsleur approach, check the others out because they may suit you better.
