There are many reasons for which people have to learn French. Maybe you are changing jobs, and you need French for business and promotion, or you want to move to a French speaking country, or you have personal reason to study it, all in all you will have to become fluent eventually, and be able to converse in French. How can you learn nice French step by step? The first thing you should do after you read the article may be to analyze your learning method. Why? First of all, it all depends on how much time you’ve got and what approach you’re using. Why learn French in the first place?� What’s the point of it?� Well, apart from being one of the sexiest, coolest sounding languages on the planet, I mean, you can swear in French and it sounds sexy, you could say “hi how are you?” in German or Arabic, and it would sound like you are telling a person to go to hell!

But seriously, why should you learn French?� It’s one of the most recognized languages in the world, and having access to additional languages in your repertoire gives you a decided edge, not only in your day to day life, but in your career as well.� Having two languages under your belt, opens you up to a whole new ball game when it comes to earning potential.

Having an additional language, is almost like having another degree, it adds credibility to everything you do, and can also get you out of some sticky situations that you might end up in!

The other thing you need to ask yourself, is “Why not learn French?”� In today’s society with the access to the tools we have available to us, it’s almost a joke NOT to have a second language, when you can learn a language in as little as 10 days, you don’t really have much of an excuse.

Ok, today I want to take you through the approaches you can take when you are looking to learn the French language online.� You see, there are schools and classes that you can take in an online setting, meaning, you can do a course by ‘correspondence’ through a university or other similar institution, or you can follow a proven method that will get you the result in a short period of time… which is to learn the French language online in the fastest, most efficient manner.

Now, the fact is that most university style courses don’t give you a great result in a short period of time.� I mean, it usually takes 3-4 years for someone to go through and do a full language course in French, and that is usually with an exchange period where you go over to France, and spend some time over there.

So are there any alternatives to being able to learn the French language online?� Absolutely, one of the better ones is the Pimsleur Approach, which incidentally is what the CIA, FBI etc. use when they want to learn a language in as little as 10 days for an operation in another country.

It’s definitely something that you will want to check out.

Why do you want to learn French in France?� Is it because you think you’ll learn faster?� Wouldn’t you rather learn French BEFORE you got to France?

If the reason you want to learn French in France is because you think you’ll learn faster, then we’ll address that issue here.� If it is because you just want to enjoy the culture and absorb yourself into their society, then by all means, have fun.

However, you can just as easily (if not easier) learn French without having to take the trip to France and commit yourself to several months of absorbing yourself in their culture.

Certain programs can teach you how to speak French in literally just a few weeks, if you apply yourself.

You’ll find some of these programs that we have reviewed on the main section of our site.� While we would off the bat recommend the Pimsleur approach, check the others out because they may suit you better.
