Why Learn French?

Why learn French in the first place? What’s the point of it? Well, apart from being one of the sexiest, coolest sounding languages on the planet, I mean, you can swear in French and it sounds sexy, you could say “hi how are you?” in German or Arabic, and it would sound like you are telling a person to go to hell!
But seriously, why should you learn French? It’s one of the most recognized languages in the world, and having access to additional languages in your repertoire gives you a decided edge, not only in your day to day life, but in your career as well. Having two languages under your belt, opens you up to a whole new ball game when it comes to earning potential.
Having an additional language, is almost like having another degree, it adds credibility to everything you do, and can also get you out of some sticky situations that you might end up in!
The other thing you need to ask yourself, is “Why not learn French?” In today’s society with the access to the tools we have available to us, it’s almost a joke NOT to have a second language, when you can learn a language in as little as 10 days, you don’t really have much of an excuse.
